I was really wanting to play an TTRPG, but the situation with my friends was a bit awkward as i said in a entry some time ago. I wanted a fresh start so i met a group of people online to play with where three of them were already friends and there was me and a girl who were newcomers. At the start i was a little hesitant and even thought about canceling it out, but i convinced myself to at least try and show up to the first session. New things always seems terrifying at first, but it really is hard to convice yourself that it's just your brain plotting against you when it's actually happening. Anyway i created my character (he is really cool, i'm a bit proud), we played the first session and it was really fun!
I am too detail-oriented so some thing stuck with me. Like i first intended to make my character trans, but i wasn't sure of the "woke level" of the group and was afraid to be an stand-out. Partly this came from when i was drawing my character and i wanted to make him wear a poncho, but the GM said "it doesn't make sense to be wearing it in Brazil", bruh i DO WEAR IT like IN REAL LIFE. His horrible sense of fashion aside (to zuando Hélio tmj), there were some interactions that i think i didn't manage well and it's been bothering me, but at this point it's just me thinking too much.
The guys are really good people and are really fun to talk and hang out with, they even "convinced" me to re-download the infamous League of Legends, but we just played together once -_- (i've been playing with my other friends though, and so far it's not been all that bad). They are really good at RPing and that made me nervous if i would be able to keep up at the start, but i feel more comfortable and included now. Our group managed a total of 2 missions completed at the moment and we're halfway into our third. There is also a new member on the party that i didn't get to know well yet since she entered last week, but she seems very chill like everyone.
All this lift me up a bit, even if only once in a week it was a relief to been talking to new people, and our campaign also was a good motivation for getting me back to drawing, i started with the concept arts of my character (there was even an before and after), and then i drew a scene from a session of us beating a bossfight. I also made the concept art of a character of a friend that unfortunaly didn't make into playing with us because of schedule problems, but it was fun anyway. I even made a character (design, backstory, sheet and all >:D) to sinergize with her's in case of us being able to play together with them (If we don't this character is so cool i might play with them alone as well).
